Mather Hospital’s Robotic Surgery Program received a second da Vinci surgical robot as a result of Mather’s affiliation with Northwell Health.
The two advanced da Vinci Xi surgical systems are used by surgeons for thoracic, gynecological, bariatric and urological procedures. State-of-the-art, robotic instrumentation controlled by the surgeon allows for complex procedures to be performed through a few tiny incisions. High definition screens offer surgeons visualization far superior to that of the human eye.
