Your Aging Eyes, Advances in Cardiac Care, Food as Medicine, Financial Health After 50 and Your Aching Back will be among the seminars offered at John T. Mather Memorial Hospital’s second annual HealthyU free seminar series and health fair on Saturday, Nov. 7 from 10 am to 2 pm. HealthyU will take place in the new Long Island Anesthesia Physicians Conference Center at the Hospital.
HealthyU is designed to educate our community on physical, emotional and financial health and will feature nine panels on healthcare topics:
- Advances in Heart Health
- Your Aching Back – A Collaborative Approach
- Food As Medicine
- Healthy Colon, Healthy You – Preventing and Dealing with Colon Cancer
- Your Aging Eyes
- Financial Health After 50
- Sleeping Your Way to Better Health
- Aromatherapy for Reducing Stress
A Health Fair will feature free health screenings, interactive exhibits and health and wellness information. Participants can sign up for New York State healthcare exchanges.
